Confirmation

In the Sacrament of Confirmation a person is sealed with the gift of the Holy Spirit. Confirmation is a completion of the Sacrament of Baptism in which a person is more perfectly bound to the Church and enriched with a special strength of the Holy Spirit, through anointing with the oil of Sacred Chrism. The Holy Spirit’s gifts of Wisdom, Understanding, Right Judgment, Courage, Knowledge, Reverence & Fear of the Lord are imparted in this Sacrament. Confirmation is usually administered by the Bishop.

Children who have already celebrated their First Reconciliation are invited to prepare for the Sacrament of Confirmation through our parish Sacramental program.
